¹Then Job replied: ²“Even today my complaint is bitter; his hand is heavy in spite of my groaning. ³If only I knew where to find him, if only I could go to this dwelling! ⁴I would state my case before him and fill my mouth with arguments. ⁵I would find out what he would say to me. ⁶Would he vigorously oppose me? No, he would not press charges against me. ⁷There the upright can establish their innocence before Him, and there I would be delivered forever from my Judge.”Job 23:1-7

Do we love God for God or for what He will do for us?

Brace yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer me.Job 38:3 ⁴“Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation? Tell me, if you understand. ⁵Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know!”Job 38:4-5

God answers Job’s prayers not with an explanation, but with His wisdom, character, and presence.

All Prayers are Answered
The purpose of prayers is communion and conversation with God.

Unanswered prayer is God’s invitation to communion and have conversation with Him on a deeper level.
